Battlestar Galactica will be coming to an end with season 4, due to air in 2008. Hopefully the *good* game developers will get their hands on the IP and give us something as special as the TV series

Finally started watching this last night, only watched Part 1 of the pilot, but intial impressions are good. Very cool grim atmosphere about it all, I likies.
To be frank I thought the pilot was s**t, I had serious reservations about the series until I saw the first episode.
I wonder when I'll be able to buy the series 3 DVD? That normaly comes out at the start of August I think.

But if it's any consolation, Jack Bauer will be back with another bad day this January.
Seriously though, I'd be more gutted if it didn't seem like it was getting towards the end of the story. For NOW! They could always do some kind of 'next generation' type thing, for better or worse...
To be honest, I'm quite happy for TV to dry up again. We've had what I like to think of as something of a mini-golden age lately: 24, Sopranos, Rome, Heroes, Prison Break, Lost (for a bit anyway) and The West Wing.
I'll be quite happy for it all to be over and switch my main pre-occupation back to videogames good and proper like...
