Another no brainer sequel. Didn't play the first one. In retrospect is it worth checking out?

I heard that the Force powers were so overpowering in the rush to "check out the big balls on us cos of our awesome physics engine" that the lightsaber was utterly redundant

I always thought that force powers were there to compliment and enhance a jedi's fighting prowess not to replace it, so the game had nil appeal to me.

I've used telekinesis, electro powers, 'force push' in loads of games. It's the lightsaber that defines a force warrior IMHO, and that I did very nicely in KOTOR. That's why Im more interested in the non force weilder classes on TOR. That said the lightsaber stuff looks great.

I played it on console. Considering I`m not use to them, I still found this remarkably easy. I handed the controller back after 5 minutes, un-impressed, uninjured and uninspired.

Force pick up, force throw. Just the backdrop changed.

Best non rpg StarWars I played was Jedi knight 2. Played on a server where force jump and lightsabres were the only allowed options. That was nuts!

Yeah that was much more like it. Remember some fun LAN stuff with JK2. Not including the one with the petulant drummer, whatever his name was.

Yeah JK2 ruled. Max (for that was his name) didn't.

I miss the old classics.

If there was a Lithium Q2 server running somewhere, I wouldn't buy a new game again.

lol! I still have the Q2 net pack with the Eraser Bots. Feel tempted to re-install sometimes.
