I am close to spunking my £80+ credit at GAME on this, but for a few of us here there's got to be that dilemma...

I mean, I AM a guitarist. And I'm in a band. I get to be a guitar hero every week anyway, so why do I need a game to replicate the experience? It's not gonna make me a better guitarist? And to get the whole MP experience I need another willing cohort to spank out £70 on the game too.

But am I missing the point? Surely the idea of a guitar game should be pure nirvana for someone of my disposition. Especially with the 360 controller being the shape of a GIBSON EXPLORER!!! I've played GH on the PS2 and I really enjoyed it too.

Maybe it's time to cave in? Please help!!!

There's a great video of Scott Ian trying to play one ofg the 'Thrax tunes from GH1 on You Tube, I think.

Not sure it's about making you a better guitarist, think the key is FUN.

And with the sequel promising some form of Band Hero nonsense, real music will soon be a thing of the past.

Now where's my DJ Tiesto trance CD...
