Another one for the WoW'ers. Yesterday saw the release of a huge patch for WoW (1.6Gb). This included major changes to areas and talents plus a new profession and the introduction of an achievement system.

lol, WAR vs WoW trolling aside for now, it's a very good patch that really polishes up the game. Shame it took 'em so long really! There are quite a few tiny changes not mentioned in the patch notes such as smelting ore into bars taking half the time. May sound nothing but if u've got 100 x ore to smelt, it's very useful! :P Also, mounts and pets are now converted into a taskbar spell (like Pally mounts) The intitial "WTF?" of my Mount evaporating into nothingness before realising this was quite amusing...
We really need a :: fickle :: smiley ;)
Well some would argee that its the game fault for not appealing to them enough. A lot of a whining on the boards about "why can't I do this like I could in WoW?" and "Why can't I just grind out Swords of instawin and armour of much lawlsatchoonubwithalife"
I have a feeling that the lack of direct dependance on gear in PVP may have scared off a few kids used to pwning by default.
That being said there have been a few bugs and stuff with WAR but fer christs sake its only been out a month. I'm loving it personally. Can't wait to get into the keep battles and stuff.

Not Monday next week I don't think. Earliest I can do is Thursday night. However, I may have some time on the following Saturday afternoon/evening.
Cool. NP. I have to sub for the first time on Sunday. Might as well hold off until Thursday then...
