Bobiroka takes time out from saving the universe from the evil Reapers to give us his opinion on heavily hyped Mass Effect. Did it have him jumping overexcitedly or was it all rather massively ineffective?!

Another nice review Bobi although I had this bizarre deja Vu feeling while reading the first bit. Might be a hangover issue I guess...
...you didn't lift anything from elsewhere did you?

Honestly no idea what you're talking about. Did I repeat myself or something?
No idea. Ignore me its prolly just age.
Nice review with the exception of that "Star Wars isn't Science Fiction" paragraph. Was that highbrow sarcastic swipe at Bioware's storytelling style or your actual honest opinion?

Star Wars isn't Science Fiction. It's fantasy, with Spaceships.
My point was that experience in Fantasy doesn't = experience in Science Fiction. They're two very different things IMHO. Not everyone that likes Star Wars likes Star trek, for example...

It's Science Fiction / Fantasy you strange boy.
Oh, I see your point, Mr Roka. Star Wars clearly lacked enough space-ships, laser-pistols, futuristic lightspeed technology, alien races, laser swords, hovercars, walking tanks, lost-planet-killing-weapons schematics and A FRIGGIN' DEATH STAR to be classed as Science-Fiction!
Is this SF denial a condition you made yourself believe to get off DVD shelf stacking duty in HMV? I wondered why the LOTR Trilogy was in the Documentary section when I went to HMV the other day but I guess they must be carrying on your bizzaro categorising system...
Still, very good review other than that slightly insane opinion.

Big Tits Vol 37 was under Science & Research last I looked too.
Star Wars is neither...it's just crap.
I would like to point you heathen in the direction of the documentary, 'Empire of Dreams' which goes at length about how much of SCi-Fi thing SW isn't.
I watch 'Heroes', and I believe everything that happens in it is real!
