no, its a 3rd person shooter....

the game itself is a 3rd person (like toomb rader)
so im assuming that the multiplayer option is also the same.

MGS4 looks to be my jump on point for the series. Kojima's 15 minute gameplay demo (available in HD at the PSN) had me totally wowed.
