I've heard they've taken an original slant on the difficulty settings for NG2. There's 'INSANE', 'HARD', 'MEDIUM', 'EASY', and 'BOBI' apparently, tho this has yet to be confirmed.
I'm running a sweepstake on how long it takes for the word "Gamefaqs" to crop up in relation to this item...
Well, being as you brought them up, I'm sure Bobi will be using them to finish this game.

After playing the Sigma demo, I am defo not interested, either in Sigma, or getting a 360 for the sequel. I've never played an action game more devoid of atmosphere/ soul as Sigma. Sure, its combat system is punchy and deep, but if that's all there is to it...?
Give me DMC for the same deep mechanics but with some real soul, or GOW for out and out atmosphere and a passable combat model. No wonder you couldn't be bothered to finish NG, Bobi...it's about as dry a gaming experience as it gets.

I'm sorry, but DMC looks like exactly the same kind of jap-cobblers over-breasted superficial nonsense as NG from the cutscenes.
This doesn't make me not want to play it though.
As for NG, in vast retrospect, it went on a bit too long and was a bit too hard for me to persevere with. That doesn't make me NOT want to play a sequel though. Especially if it can fill me with the same amount of enjoyment as the first one for so long despite not actually finishing it... :S

Btw, I seriously question the worth of Bobi's fanboyism taking over the news:

Anyone reading that would think that Tecmo putting Sigma on PS3 really put his nose out of joint, and that now some kind of corporate justice has been done -- rather than he simply felt like imparting some interesting information. Which is kind of the point of the news, isn't it?
While we always have good old bias filled battles in the comments, I think that it spilling into the stories itself is perhaps going a little far.

I do post news, Bobi. And while it may be rarely, and always about the odd few things I'm into, it's because I'm into it, rather than wanting to rub yer nose in it.

My blood was boiling just looking at it. There is something slightly sexual about the way NG handles, and that video demonstrates it well...
It does handle well. Silky smooth mechanics, that's for sure.
I know this will only draw more flack about my apparent inability to finish games but here is some more delicious footage of NG2 in action. Quite low quality, but those slicey sound FX and bits of body flying everywhere look pretty special.
