doh I just missed gatting this story in first. Well I can confirm that the 'this link has already been used' feature works anyway.
My description was much more inflamatory though. "Just days after Microsoft are forced to announce the release of 1 billion dollars to repair and replace it’s troubled 360 games console Sony announce a $100 dollar price slash on its premium system."
But then I was going to rate it as Troll rather then interesting.
Why aren't we seeing this price cut in the UK ffs. Knock £100 off the price and I might start thinking about it.

Me too tbh.
Ditto. Though new PC is defo first having read 'Bioshock' and 'Hellgate: London' previews over the weekend...
Thought you were Bioshocking on the X360?
Well that was the default option, but given the choice I'd rather opt for higher res and mouse/keys...
360 will still be in service for Mass Effect and GTAIV, time allowing...

You'll see the price cut soon enough over here, I reckonz.
Now if only they could price-cut the games. I'm getting fed up with price checking every 'impulse' buy because half a hundred pounds is deemed the high street norm these days. Forty nine ninety nine my ar5e.

At least they've calmed dwn a bit on Xbox 360. Most games are about £40-45 now, with only Special Edition Versions capping out at £50 smackers.
No price cut in Europe then. Looks like we're going to get a 'better' pack for the same price, i.e. 2 controllers and 2 games. Which if it's like every other free game pack I've ever seen will be the s**t no one buys.
Until the rumble and Heavenly Sword arrive, the PS3 doesn't even register to me.
All that matters is that you WILL be getting one.
