One to keep an eye on perhaps, at least for those few people crying out for a new take on a much neglected genre. Gamespot have all information and screenshots for this russian-developed space combat sim.

As much as I've neglected Stalker (too much running, even virtually, bores me), and as much as that game was Ukrainian and not Russian, will be good to see what another new developer can do for the industry.
Although, reading the article (Bobi, you did read the article, right?), Gamespot say "Tarr Chronicles doesn't look like it will add anything revolutionary to the genre", and it has no multiplayer at all.
Still, good to see new people in the industry, even if they're not doing anything new. Yet :)

As you may be well aware, MP in this genre is usually a bit s**te (turning in infinite circles etc) So I fully endorse the fact that they've chosen to skip all tjhat s**te and make a decent SP yarn.
Even the mighty Koorah - I believe - prefered the mod authorship of SP stuff over any MP shenanigans...

Too right. Although I co-op'd Freespace 2 with zOmBiE on a few occasions and it was almighty awesome, on the occasions it worked
