I`ve been wanting this movie to be made ever since I saw the first.
Aye looks great. And it has the Bale who is...faultless imho.
And the director, McG, made the Charlies Angels movie!

I've never seen Charlie's Angels, but I'm willing to assume it did the subject matter justice. My point being, does McG deserve derision because he made a Charlie's Angels movie? Or because he made a BAD Charlie's Angels movie?

Meh? Not at all. Even Michael (Uncut Film Boff) Bonner at work liked it. Said it was the best batman movie ever etc. And have only heard good things about it.
And I may have a spare ticket for the Imax screening on 30th july if anyone's interested... Can't wait!!!

First Charlie's Angels film had a fight scene set to Smack My Bitch Up and was a well put together movie. Second was not so good.
I'm feeling slightly meh about Dark Knight but not as meh as I should be for the excessive hype.
As for the new Terminator film there is a huge time scale for it to be set in. For the previous films mans resistance appears to go on for 30+ years. Plus, of course, there are 4 obvious generations of Terminators. I believe the Terminator in this is going to be an 800 model.
Oh and the best thing about the first two movies was Linda Hamilton. I didn't think the third worked as well without her. Terminator without The Governator or Ms Hamilton, well you've got to be a bit worried.

I think it was Arnie's presence in T3 which held it back IMHO. Oh, and that they probably should have had Shia LeBeouf playing John Connor instead of that monkey-featured nobody...
I don't get some of you lot. It's like as soon as they start saying a film/game/book/place/whatever is good your 'meh' reflex seems to kick in. I thought this was merely a wind up routine designed to cast stones at my tendency to foam up at the prospect of stuff like this, but no.
This time I've been quitely excited and maintained a modest degree of calm about the whole thing. I haven't felt the need to wax lyrical about it at all - yet you miserable f**ks are now going 'meh' about Batman. f**king BATMAN ffs!

S'just a movie. Not rushing out on Friday or before to see it.
Not really worried about the lack of Hamilton or Arnie, have to admit.
I didn`t really think they would feature a Terminator, as there past that part of the story surely? although I see a T800 and a Terminator listed in the casting.
I`m hoping for humans Vs CGI bots. Lots of `em.

Me neither. The Downey Jr is top notch and he's led a "more troubled" life than Bale.
