Bad dog, NAUGHTY DOG, in your bed! Talk about anticlimax. My most anticipated game, UDF, arrived in demo form on the USA PSN..region-locked! They NEVER region lock games, and it took 1.2gb of waiting before I found out. Ah well, the EU will get it on the 22nd Nov. Better late than never I s'pose.

Naughty Dog have just re-uploaded it without the region lock...dl'ing now!!!!!
Oooh look forward to seeing this in action 2nite.
M8, it's fooking amazing. Absolute eyecandy orgy, and the gunplay is tops.
Played this demo 4 times and it really is superb. Intuitive play, beautiful control, and technically it's about as good as it gets on consoles.
The gunplay is seriously addictive, with some genuinely stunning enemy A.I. going on just as you start getting smug. They take cover, flank you, work in pairs, lob grenades to flush you out. Ammo is scarce, and punishment for being too gungho is swift. But it's fair. Nice to be made to work for every inch of ground.
The melee stuff takes some getting used to, but the results are very dramatic once you do.
Platforming is as intuitive as it gets, and you'll soon be hurling Drake around the gorgeous looking jungle with real agility.
This will be my GOTY, no doubt about it. I think it's going to be a system seller. It's a brightly coloured technically superlative platformer-shooter, with adventure elements and a killer story. Nothing even remotely cult about this one. If this one is 'niche' then Gears of War is positively esoteric....unless all the young adult male demographic can understand is big butch space marines.

You've nailed it there.

You've nailed it there.
Well, gaming can't stand still for those chavs, I'm afraid.
Have to admit Unchartered is jaw-droppingly good, absolutely love how the platforming element isn't immediately obvious with very natural environments. The combat system is also very cool, with genuine AI on show (take note Halo developers, this *is* AI). Sure, it's Tomb Raider without tits, but it's one I'd certainly buy.
Eurogamer are LOVING this in their review.
Well, they'd have to be stark staring mad NOT too. Roll on December 7th!!

"Eurogamer are LOVING this in their review."
It MUST be s**t then.
It MUST be s**t then.
It's review copy pandering still, but playing the demo makes me think it'll be every bit as good as the pandering score they gave.
First time I've seen them review-pander a PS3 game...it must be good

f**king double standards.
If you want the game to be good you'll believe anything you read.
In this sense you're both as bad as me.
