We have returned after our forced hiatus. Things will be squiffy over the next few hours - expect a more complete return to the norm tonight.

Fair warning: stuff may not work (don't update your blog, eg), and there will be some errors.
And all the data since August 2008 is gone, kaput, destroyed, NO MORE.
Sigh/tsk.
Will add a forum post about what happened, why etc later.
Must work now

What utter tossers.
What utter tossers.
Like a Phoenix, from the ashes once more. Etc.
Glad we're back online once more (although it's scuppered by plans of assimilating this whole site into Twitter. Dammit).

I've really missed it TBH.
And effing annoyed all the E3 vids have gone, there were some stonkers in there.
Still, the whole experience hasn't been as bad here as it was for the poor Indian fella who's company made the software that was hacked:

Woo!
See what happens when I go away for a week...
Yeah. A coincidence, I'm sure
Have a good time dude?

Have a good time dude?
Yes thanks. Actually managed to get some sunburn miraculously. Also, managed to watch Transformers. f**k its a good yarn, intit?
Indeed it is.
Still waiting to hear about T2 next week. You'll be the first to know

'The Fallen' - massively jealous if so. Better than the first one?
Where were you anyway? Good hols?

Me or Koorah? IMAX?
Koorah mate, was promised after... whatever the last one was... Star Trek, I think.
If I get them.
Didn't he just say he'd seen it?
Further investigation would reveal a lack of TWO in the mention of the afore-mentioned movie. I'm also fairly sure it's on general release from this coming Friday, and it had it's premiere in Japan, not Devon.
And... twas discussed after we saw Star Trek at the IMAX - T2 *may* be the next one that has a preview screening. The very lovely lady from the BFI mentioned it before she introduced ST with "boldly going where no IMAX has gone before".
Oh, how we laughed.

Aye apologies for the lack of clarity, I was referring to the first movie which I have only just seen.
Yes, yes I know, 'why bother it years since its been remotely relevant' and all that.
Would still love to come if a ticket is available, but will depend on the date as I have a lot on over next two weeks.

OK. I get it. I just assumed that since we're in the middle of a hype frenzy for Transformers 2, it was Transformers 2 that you'd seen, somehow, somewhere. Had no idea where it was you went on Holiday. It could have been Cybertron itself for all I knew.
Also the reference of 'It's a good yarn' implied it may have been a Transformers film I have yet to see, since I probably wouldn't have singled out the film's plot as a stand-out element of the movie.
Still, as with Bioshock, at least you got to experience before the next installment

Devon, and v luverly it was too. When not shrouded in grey clouds and drizzle that is.
If it's going to happen it will be this week, but given that TF still has "we're broke, bear with us" holding page, it would be fair enough if the nice lady looked and thought "no".
Will call as soon as I have details.
Fingers crossed.
Megan Fox so big that spelunking would be an appropriate euphemism... I'll have some o that.

the BFI site says their copy of the film is delayed, and won't be ready until Friday (the release date).
So, unless they throw in a freebie next week, it's looking very unlikely we'll get freebs for the IMAX.
Sorry dude!

She's certainly hot but...I think shes kinda funny lookin'.
Least she doesn't look like a bot a la the Portman.

that shoudl read, like a 'boy' obviously. She may be a shade androgonous, but I wouldn't say she has a face like an alfe.
