In an ultimate act of confusion, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has announced that as well as the franchise reboot due later this year, there will be ANOTHER Prince of Persia game based directly on the Disney Movie due out next year, which itself is based loosely on 2003 reboot, Sands Of Time. The PSN store seemed a fallow place until now. With AAA PS3 games starting to stack up & prices coming down, Sony seem to have also turned their attention to the network side of things. Graphics whore pin-up John Carmack recently showcased a tech demo of id Softwares new graphics engine and Gamespot have the movie. Thankfully, this one wasn't masquerading as a proper game. More

It appears that the movie/TV rights to the City of Heroes/Villians ip have been picked up by the producers of The Transformers movie.
Whether this is a good thing remains to be seen. More
