Because even Lego has limits. More

Sony's PS3 exclusive Resistance was a solid, sometimes inspired fps launch game. Insomniac now seem to be going several stages better with the upcoming sequel. The new footage shows Chicago, in an 'I Am Legend' state of desertion, a Godzilla sized boss, and info about 8 player online co-op. Cool! More

Notable mentions: Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, Wipeout HD, Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2, Socom: UNSC and Secret Agent Clank. It's going to be a good summer, and and even better autumn. More

Sale of Fallout could mean the return of Freespace not to mention a few other Interplay-owned IPs... More

Bad dog, NAUGHTY DOG, in your bed! Talk about anticlimax. My most anticipated game, UDF, arrived in demo form on the USA PSN..region-locked! They NEVER region lock games, and it took 1.2gb of waiting before I found out. Ah well, the EU will get it on the 22nd Nov. Better late than never I s'pose. More

The PSN store seemed a fallow place until now. With AAA PS3 games starting to stack up & prices coming down, Sony seem to have also turned their attention to the network side of things. Great things are promised for the EU, including the Uncharted demo & new content for Folklore. More after link. More

Anyone fancy some platforming-combat action in a Pixaresque 1080p @ 60fps world? Look no further. Well, get yourself an American PSN account and THEN look no further. This demo gives a glimpse into the visually stunning next installment of the critically acclaimed R&C series. And it's brilliant! More

Now that Sony and Immersion have kissed and made up, they've gone one step further and made a baby...a rumbling Sixaxis. Motion control and rumble in the same space -- and the fibbers said it couldn't be done! Oh well, cool that it can. :) More

Created by Games Republic, the Genji lot, Folklore is a moody action RPG with a Pokemon-esque 'catch 'em, all' vibe. Walk around beautiful faery lands, spank faeries, then waggle the Sixaxis to catch their souls for use as a spirit ally. It's well worth a look, but is only up 'til 31/08/07. Hurry! More

Happy Anniversary to Lionhead from Alfie HQ, ten years in the business is a very cool achievement in this day and age. Press release follows, with details of a new studio video to download. More

Yay! The PS3 game that will finally allow the Sixaxis more than just a few token shakes per game is due out in a fortnight, and it's looking beautiful. The dragons will be controllable by tilting the Sixaxis, and by all accounts they've got the controls for this spot on. Defo a 1st day purchase. More

PS3 FanBoy seem to think that we're getting the demo for the much anticipated PS3 hack 'n' slasher Heavenly Sword next thursday. By the looks of it this territory gets it first, which is a bit of a coup, seeing as we usually get sloppy seconds! Also available are lots of old PS1 games :) More

My PS3 has been a bit neglected of late, partly due to Tomb Raider Anniversary on PC, but also because of a game famine. This is all set to change August 14th when the dragon-icious sixasis-athon 'Lair' ships. A demo will be available on PSN in July. After seeing the latest vids I'm pretty stoked. More

Amazing how life pans out, from the ridiculously simple Dizzy series of games on the ZX Spectrum to massive corporate investments. Seems life gets ever rosier for the Darlings. More

After a brief absence due to a stint in digital rehab, the Alfie Reviews have returned for your reading delight! More

The BBFC have published their report on why people play video games. It's not just because there's nowt else to do then? :O) More

'Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars' is still top of the pile in this weeks UK Entertainment software charts. Predictably 'Guitar Hero II' slides up the fretboard straight in at number one in the Xbox 360 charts... More

And we've set up a Deadalfs group on there, if you don't like it here. As if that could ever be possible :) More
